Alongside the reveal of Sonic Mania, we get a glimpse at a modern style Sonic game under the presumed code name “Project Sonic 2017”. The debut trailer shows very little other than it looks like a 3D game with both Mordern Sonic and Classic Sonic.

A 2D Sonic and 3D Sonic game in the same year. Hmm, interesting.

Project Sonic 2017 is scheduled for Holiday 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo NX, and PC.
