Splatoon’s squid sisters, Callie and Marie, are being added to the amiibo lineup for July 8. Judging by the video, they look particularly detailed. Using the amiibo in Splatoon will unlock some songs performed by Callie and Marie for your viewing pleasure. I never did grow too much interest in Splatoon, but this seems like the silly kind of thing that would get me to turn on the game and check out.

In addition, a new Inkling set is being released alongside the squid sisters, featuring recolors of the original Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid, now in green, purple, and orange, respectively.
